Carrington Crossing Styled Shoot | Buda, Texas

Last fall, Kristina at Kristina Ross Photography and Kali at Kindle and Gather contacted me to be a part of a styled shoot at Carrington Crossing in Buda, Texas. Their inspiration board was gorgeous -- there's no way I could say no! The bold, organic feel of the shoot was perfect for fall, but the details are simply timeless. Since Buda is so close to Austin, I had the pleasure of meeting Kristina and the model, Shelby, on-site at the venue. Kristina is sweet as can be and is (obviously) an incredibly talented photographer. It was so much fun to explore the venue (complete with all kinds of antique props and gorgeous furniture) and get a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes workings of a shoot.

For this shoot, I wanted to keep the invitation suite simple to let the bold florals, vintage tableware, and gorgeous gown take center stage. Classic navy and ivory with a delicate deckled edge, combined with timeless gold ink worked perfectly alongside the organic details.

The entire shoot is featured on Burnett's Boards today -- check out more photos here!
